Our
goal for Christian education at Downtown is to train up our teens in the
ways of God; help them build a closer relationship with Christ; to
understand and know what they believe and why they believe it; to be able
to give the reason for the hope they have; and help them
in all things
grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ by maturing in spirit
and in truth.
We have
developed a curriculum that we believe helps us provide this sort of
Christian education. We realize that there are times that we will have to
steer away from the plans in order to accomplish a specific task. However,
we will make every effort to stick to these plans so that our teens will
have every opportunity to grow in their knowledge, understanding, and
