Meet Todd Miller and Jennifer Mills, our children's ministers. In this video, they will give you an overview of our program and our facility.

Downtown's Hand in Hand Children’s Ministry is founded on Deuteronomy 6:4-9.  We partner with families to raise children to love the Lord with all their hearts and to live each day focused on Him.  We want to partner with parents and caregivers in the Searcy area to help them be the primary spiritual teachers for their children.  Our CM curriculum choices, program offerings, and fun activities are intended to be tools for parents and caregivers in their daily efforts to raise mission-minded, God seekers.

Included in our commitment to Walk Hand in Hand with families is our desire to work with families who have special needs.   Our inclusive, special needs ministry will provide an adult buddy for children who need individual attention in the classroom.  Downtown also has sensory spaces on each level for those children who need time to regroup.  Any of our staff will be happy to help you upon your arrival to Downtown.

Bible classes typically meet at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings and again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.  Families are encouraged to be part of our Small Group Ministry on Sunday evenings.  (For more information, contact the DC office.)

We offer Children's Worship for children 3 years to Kindergarten in the Preschool hallway and for children in 1st to 3rd grade in the Elementary hallway.  Children's Worship is provided the First and Third Sundays during both first and second services.

The safety of the children in our DC facility is of utmost importance to us.  There is a Welcome Counter on both floors of the Children's Center.  All visitors are asked to visit these stations to "check-in" and to get additional information about policies and procedures.

My smile, when volunteering with the 2nd grade, is the same smile I had in the 2nd grade from the joy and happiness that I get from being a part of a Children's Ministry that seeks to grow with, love, and serve others!

I’ve volunteered with our children’s ministry for several years now, and I find so much joy in building relationships with and loving on the kids!

I love getting to know the kids I teach by name and seeing their faces light up when learning about the Bible.
