Children’s Ministry Helpful Information

Safety Policy

Children’s Ministry has a Child/Youth and Family Protection Policy that is available online. Applications to volunteer in our Children’s Ministry are also available!  Click the link under our safety policy to the right.

 Safety Response Team

We have a group of volunteers that are ready to respond to emergencies when needed.

Curriculum/Scope and Sequence

Bible class scope and sequence for Pre-K through 6th grade are posted on our web site under the Education link.

 Children’s Worship

A Children’s Worship is provided for all 3 year olds to 3rd grade on the first and third Sunday of each month. 

 Nursery care

A nursery is provided during each assembly and Bible Class.  Only Children 2 years old and younger are allowed during our main assemblies.  Each parent must take a pager.  Only the parent/guardian with the pager is allowed to pick up each child.

 Goldfish/Animal Crackers

Children’s Ministry consumes on average 47.6 pounds of goldfish and animal crackers each month! (Okay, maybe not that much)

 Promotion

Classroom promotion takes place on the First Sunday in August.

MOPS

Moms of children just born to Kindergarten are invited to MOPS which meets twice a month on Tuesdays from 9 - 11 a.m.

Martial Arts

The Arkansas Martial Arts Academy meets at our building and offers affordable classes in Karate, Taekwondo and self defense.

CD of Bible Songs

Our Children’s Ministry has recorded a CD with many of the bible songs we sing each week.  Let Todd or Kami know if you would like copy!

 Family Resources

A variety of family videos and resources can be checked out of our Resource room or Todd’s office.  Let Todd or Kami know what your looking for!
